This lodge/BnB in Chimanimani borders the Chimanimani National Park and Chimanimani Eland Sanctuary. Beautifully set on a mountain surrounded by mature trees and covers two separate stands. There are 5 separate cottages on the property as well as a 700 l water tank, 2,500 l water tank, 5,000 l water tank and two 10,000 l water tanks and pump, solar geyser, 4 car parks, workshop, laundry and office. Each stand is 4,461m2 , adding up to a total property size of 8,922 m2 .
Cottage 1: Set under a high thatched roof this unit offers an open plan lounge with fireplace, dining room and fitted kitchen, guest bathroom with shower and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Upstairs is also open plan with two single beds and one double, separated with room dividers and cupboard units.
Cottage 2: This cottage is surrounded by mature msasas and tree ferns with canopy views out the windows. Bottom floor comprises a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom, separate access to the rest of the cottage. Middle floor has a separate fitted kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge with a fireplace as well as a bedroom and verandah off the lounge offering more living area and canopy views. Up a short flight of stairs to the top floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and private toilet, and the other bedroom with two single beds. There is also a picturesque verandah out the window boasting a full view of the Chimanimani mountains.
Cottage 3: On the ridge above the tree line this double storey cottage has an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area downstairs as well as a bathroom with bathtub. Up the spiral staircase is an open plan bedroom with large windows offering panoramic views of the tree tops. There is also a sitting area, walk in dressing room, toilet and basin. French doors open onto a large upstairs verandah.
Cottage 4: This cottage comprises a separate kitchen, separate room with two single beds and en-suite bathroom. There is a large verandah under a thatched roof serving as the living area for the cottage, could easily be bricked in to be an indoors lounge.
Cottage 5: This cottage with picture windows of the mzanje and msasa trees is warm and cozy. There is a separate fitted kitchen to the main living area. The main living area comprises an open plan lounge with fireplace and dining area, with a single bed screened off by room dividers. The master bedroom is separate and has an en-suite bathroom.
